Tom Foley is a twice-published novelist who practices law in Massachusetts. Formerly a civil litigator at a prestigious downtown Boston law firm, his experiences researching and writing his Bosnian War novel, This Way to Heaven (Forge Books, 2001) including traveling throughout Bosnia and Croatia during a cease-fire, changed his life. He now specializes in representing low-income clients before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court. He works at home on the North Shore of Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters.
