Thomas Trezise

Author

Thomas Trezise is  a Professor of French at Princeton University. He is the author of scholarly works on Samuel Beckett and Holocaust survivor testimony, and has also published book-length translations and editions. His most recent book is a memoir about the near-fatal sexual assault suffered by his wife, the philosopher Susan Brison, and their lives in the wake of the event. He divides his time between Princeton and their home in Vermont. His greatest current interest is in the history, culture, and ecology of the Caribbean, especially Martinique and Guadeloupe, on which he plans to focus his next book. Once an accomplished springboard diver, he now contents himself with watching Olympic reruns on YouTube.
