In 2010 CJA formed a creative collaboration with the Frances White Literary Agency to package African American, Latino, and international authors for the U.S. book, film, and TV market. You can read more about our partner at: http://franceswhiteagency.com/Home_Page.html
We are excited to announce that the CJA Summer Interns have been selected and will debut at the 2010 Book Expo America (BEA) in NYC in May. You can find their photos and blurbs under Our Team.
In response to the demand for books which deal with celebrity and/or mediagenic subjects CJA has formed a Strategic Operations Author Recruitment unit this year (SOAR). SOAR is designed for rapid response to political, social, and newsworthy events and the persons connected to them. The unit can package an editor, ghostwriter, researcher, marketing strategist and publicist with an alert 24/7.
CJA now proudly represents these newly signed clients: Non-fiction: Michael Santos, Gerard Spiniello, Sam Holt and Troy Jones, Jim Owen, Jose Garcia Villa ed. Bob King and Fiction: D.J. Swykert.
Named in honor of British American Actress Elizabeth Robins, a newly formed unit at CJA focuses on acquiring rising talents in Theatre, Film, and TV. Their mission is to develop projects that rock for television series, feature films and theatre. The team is composed of brilliant Shakespearean actor McKey Carpenter, writer Tristan Axelrod, Darcy Fowler, playwright, Rob Carpenter, scene designer, Kate McCamy, screenwriter, Victoria Royal, and Jim O’Brien, literary scouts.
Richard Wolf's new play, Wall Street Follies, will debut at the ABET Theatre in Atlantic Beach, Florida in July 2010.
