Our submission policy is as follows:
Please submit a one page query including a brief bio via e-mail to queries@carolynjenksagency.com. Due to the high volume of queries we receive, we are unable to respond to everyone. Queries are reviewed on a rolling basis, and we will follow up directly with the author if there is interest in a full manuscript. No reading fees or expenses are charged at any time.
Agency Internships
In recent years we have welcomed interns from Wellesley, Emerson, Emmanuel, Harvard, Lesley, B. U., and Oxford University. Some aspired to write while others sought careers in publishing.
Working in a small agency offers our interns a fast track to experiencing all facets of author representation. Our interns become acquainted with editors and publishers while developi ng sales st rategies for specific projects.They also attend meetings and industry events.
In helping our interns move into careers in New York City, in some cases we have the pleasure of seeing them reach back and acquire authors they developed while interning with us.
